To save you waiting until Chris gets back online: the version you will download is the normal install file, which you run on your new machine in the usual way. The resulting installation is fully functional for the trial period.

If and when you decide to upgrade, follow the upgrade link in Chris's post #2, and, when your payment is received, you will be sent the product key to unlock the existing installation.

It's a while since I used BB, but I suspect that, while the interface will be familiar, you will find that the changes in BB Pro are significant. One which you may wish to be aware of is that, for IPTC data, BB Pro supports the newer XMP standard; BB only supports the older IIM standard.
