Capturing animated GIFs in video booth mode has been enhanced to support capture with the camera in photo mode with the ability to crop the live view display, display overlays and to use color, B&W, sepia or the new Instagram style filters.

Displaying the live view mirrored and the preview after each photo unmirrored can confuse some users and so a new option to mirror the previews has been added. Also added in this release is the option to mirror photos in prints and animated GIFs. This is useful if users are writing words in light painting and other set ups because it means they don't have to write in reverse.

The camera settings dialog now has the option to take test photos using the current settings for each bank and can be displayed using a photo booth shortcut button. This makes it easier for operators to adjust camera settings when setting up a photo booth.

There a number of enhancements to the XML settings files to allow advanced users to create location independent settings so that it is easier to share settings on different photo booths. The settings files can also be used to setup profiles and the photo booth shortcut buttons.
