- New automatic GPS geo-tagging of JPEG and raw images as they are downloaded using GPS track log data from devices such as the Sony GPS-CS1. Also optionally creates track log files which can be viewed in Google Earth or Google Maps
- Added date based job codes making it easier to download memory cards containing different subjects shot on different days
- Added support for IPTC/XMP metadata for compatibility with apps like Photoshop and BreezeBrowser Pro
- Backup plug-in now supports one or two backups allowing two backup copies of images to be made as images are downloaded
- New sequence numbering tokens added to make it easier to have continuous numbering when downloading images from multiple memory cards.
- New more flexible token format to avoid possible conflicts with certain sequences (automatically updated from the old format when Downloader Pro v2 is run)
- Added support for Hasselblad raw files
- Settings can now be saved to a Windows registry file for backup purposes or when copying settings to another PC
- Now works with AutoPlay on Windows Vista (allowing Downloader Pro to be launched automatically when a memory card is placed in a card reader)
