BreezeBrowser Pro is designed to run on Windows. We don't support running BreezeBrowser Pro on a Mac, but it should run if you are using an Intel Mac and suitable Windows emulation software.
We don't think BreezeBrowser Pro will run on a Mac with an M1 or M2 processor and Parallels because this runs the ARM version of Windows not the Intel version. If your Mac has an M1 or M2 processor you could try using Crossover instead.
BreezeBrowser Pro 1.12 displays JPEGs and CR3 raw files, and focus points from the R5 and R6.
We don't have any plans to support HDR PQ (HEIF) images at present.

It is likely that you have a corrupted image in the folder BreezeBrowser Pro is trying to open. Try dragging and dropping a good image onto the desktop icon, then start the program.
Unfortunately Canon no longer supply raw conversion libraries for their cameras. The latest version of the Canon libraries is required to display raw files and shooting data including focus point information from the latest cameras, but these do not support raw conversion of current or previous camera models.
To convert raw files from previous camera models download BreezeBrowser Pro 1.9.8.10 This will be installed in a separate folder and have a separate desktop icon. Run v1.9.8.10 when you need to convert raw files from older camera models, and the latest version to view photos from newer cameras.
BreezeBrowser Pro: v1.12 displays focus points from both the R5 and R6. Older versions may crash if 'display focus points' is selected.
BreezeBrowser Pro is a 32-bit app which uses Microsoft's MAPI interface to pass emails to an email client. This works with 32-bit email clients such as Mozilla Thunderbird and older versions of Outlook. You cannot send emails from BreezeBrowser Pro using recent releases of Outlook or Windows 10 Mail.
