I would love to try Breeze Booth, do you have a free trial?

Sure, just download the App from Apple's App Store. There is no charge to use the Breeze Booth App. If you do not have a subscription or voucher you can take 10 sets of images each day before they are watermarked

How do I begin?

Start here. Welcome To Breeze Booth takes you through the basics and links you to more information.

Which is best? Built in or Web based AI background removal?

Built-in AI background removal: Supports photos, GIFs and videos. Is faster and can be used with live view. Does not need an internet connection.

Web based AI background removal: Supports photos only. Provides higher quality results. Is slower because it requires an internet connection. Requires an extra subscription to a third party service

Both work with external Canon camera and cameras built into the iPad/iPhone.

You can also combine built-in removal for live view with web based AI background removal for photos taken with an external camera

Where are the photos, GIFs and videos taken at my events stored?

Booth automatically stores photos, GIFs and MP4 videos locally on the device. They can be displayed using the Apple Files App as well as the built in image gallery.
You can copy these images to Dropbox and a Windows PC as they are taken. Breeze Hub copies images using a Mi-Fi, wireless router or the SIM card in an iPad/iPhone. To copy images to Dropbox you need internet access and a paid Dropbox account. More

I have been given a Breeze Booth voucher. How do I use it?

If you already have a Breeze Booth account, log into the Web App. Select the Vouchers tab and apply the voucher to your account.
If you haven't opened a Breeze Booth account yet, you will need to open an account at breezebooth.net before you can use your voucher.

Can I use my Windows printers?

Yes. Run our free Windows companion App Breeze Hub and print on any Windows printer – including professional dye sub printers. Or use a third party AirPrint convertor device.
More about printing

Does Breeze Booth support AirPrint?

Yes, you can print directly from the App to AirPrint compatible printers

Can I design events on my Mac?

Breeze Booth Event Editor is designed to run on Windows. The Event Editor runs on an Intel based Mac using Apple Boot Camp or Windows emulation software. It will also run on a Mac with a M series processor using Crossover but the graphics for the touchscreen editor can be a bit slow.

I have lost/broken/left my iPad in the office. Can I log out of Breeze Booth remotely and use the App on a different device?

Yes. just log into the Web App and go to the Devices tab.
You can remotely log out iPads and iPhones from this page.

How so I download the latest Event Editor without overwriting the events in my event folder?

When you download the Event Editor, you also download the latest release of Breeze Hub and the free events provided with Breeze Booth. That’s great for beginners. If you already have event designs you want to keep, we suggest unchecking the box Copy sample events to your Documents folder so that no changes are made to your events folder.

Why can't I send emails from Gmail?

You can't send emails via GMail directly from the iPad but you can use any standard SMTP email server such as SendGrid, Postmark, your own ISP or the email server provided with your subscription. Alternatively upload your output to Hub, which does send Gmail emails.

Error 3002 when logging in an iPad or phone

You have no free licenses available. Log into the Web App and go to the Devices tab to check which devices are logged in. You can log devices out remotely from this page.

How do I send Breeze a copy of an event when I have a problem?

Breeze Booth for iPad Events are stored in the events folder shown in the tool bar at the top of the main Event Editor window, often C:\Users\....\Documents\Breeze Booth for iPad\events

Each event has a folder with the same name, so event 'My problem event' may be found at C:\Users\....\Documents\Breeze Booth for iPad\events\My problem event\

Either email support@breezesys.com a zipped copy of the event folder, or copy the event folder into DropBox (or another cloud storage app) and share the folder with support@breezesys.com

Hub keeps resending the same email. Why does this happen?

Make sure you are using the latest release of Hub.
If emails are still being sent more than once, Hub is probably not allowed update the email XML file after sending the email. Hub updates the email XML file once an email has been sent. If it can't update the XML file it will keep trying to resend the email. Antivirus software sometimes prevents Hub from updating this file.

I'm having trouble installing fonts on the ipad. What do I need to do?

Install the font on the Windows PC running the Event Editor so that you can select the new font in the print caption. You also need to install the font on each iPad using Fontcase which is a little bit fiddly. Chris uses the Pages app to check the font was correctly installed.
